Roxborough Construction specializes in helping our clients understand the various options and challenges that they may confront when they begin to evaluate the feasibility and location of their upcoming projects.

PRE-CONSTRUCTION SERVICES

Our thorough pre-construction services provide the Project Team with enough information to properly plan the project on paper to eliminate and/or prevent any problems from interfering with the project’s budget, quality, and scheduling goals.

ARCHITECTURAL SUPPORT
We believe in working with the Architect as team members to insure that all design goals are met. We use our relationships with Philadelphia Area and Nationwide vendors and subcontractors to help provide the project team with enough detailed information to properly select equipment, materials, and finishes.

VALUE ENGINEERING
We believe in providing this service during pre-construction, not when the project is over budget and about to commence. We believe in selective value engineering that will not cheapen the project but will provide value through more efficient use of materials, lower labor costs, or through lower maintenance costs.

COST CONTROL
Our cost reports are very detailed and are perfect cost control management tools. Our construction estimates are derived with a complete breakdown for each trade broken down into quantities and unit prices. We compare all of our estimates with our database of historic costs to look for unusual variances.

SCHEDULING
Fast track projects are our specialty. We use Microsoft Project scheduling software, which reflects all critical path items, client vendor schedule requirements, and all important milestone dates. Our field superintendents provide weekly rolling schedule updates to the Project Team.

QUALITY CONTROL
We take pride in the quality of our work. Our field superintendents walk the jobs and derive weekly punch lists that get corrected immediately. Roxborough Construction also performs and completes our own punch list prior to the final punch list walk through with our Client and their Architect. Our goal is to have no punch list at the end of the project.

PROGRESS CLEAN-UP
We have our own labor force to insure that all of our project sites are kept clean and safe. Our laborers clean each jobsite daily and provide path of travel clean up during material delivery and debris disposal. On projects adjacent to occupied areas, our laborers are on site full time to provide cleaning services whenever and wherever needed.

CLIENT-VENDOR COORDINATION
We schedule and coordinate all of our clients’ on-site vendors. We will coordinate their Tele/Data Cabling, Furniture, Audio/Visual, and Security Vendors, etc. to insure that all of the vendors’ work is done prior to move-in. We want to take the coordination headache away from our clients.

PROJECT CLOSEOUT
Our closeout packages are timely, thorough and complete. Our closeout documentation includes all signed-off permits cards, permit drawings, signed-off punch lists, as-builts, operations manuals, warranties, and lien releases.
